Art Garden On the Move

January 19, 2015

gardenshop

The Art Garden (formerly The Garden Shop) is having a moving sale all of January and February 2015. The building and fenced yard they’ve been occupying has been sold so everything must go at an amazing 30 to 50% off! And when they say “everything” they mean everything; here’s just a partial list of the great stuff you can take away: Vintage doors, windows, lighting; architectural salvage including used bricks, tile, wrought iron, barn wood; plants; furniture, including chairs, tables, desks, shelving; cabinets, bed frames; tools; artwork; books; appliances; home and garden décor including chandeliers, sinks, antiques, fountains, rocks, statues; LP records.

Stephen, and partner Valorie, have been my go-to garden wizards for years, capable of conjuring up that certain something I might be in search of; or, if not the actual thing, a worthy substitute that hadn’t occurred to me. So, stop in — browse or ask for what you need — and take it away at a great price! Click over to the next page for their address:

Darn! Are they going to be able to relocate? I know with his type of business, it’s kind of hard to find a place to fit his needs and style.

Hey, WF … Happily, I think they’ve found a place to move to. It’s smaller but nearby and among like-minded venues. I got some cool rocks and plants on Saturday before we had to head home … at awesome prices, of course!

Hey Reuben, we’re on a staycation this week and were thinking of checking out this place. You up for a visit? Jim tried texting you but technology may have failed him…

Howdy, NR-B! We’d love to see you both … I don’t think we’ve got anything happening but if we do we’ll cancel it. I’ll email The Mister and see what he’s got to say. 😉

Hi we will passing through Riverside next week and I am disappointed to maybe have missed the opportunity to see the Art Garden. Will they be open at a new location by March 9th?
My sister recently sent me the link to your blog as we are desert and cacti lovers along with
vintage finds (on the cheap) scavengers! I have yet to catch up on all your post but Love
your garden and what you do. Thanks for any information and I will refer to more of your tags for things we may want to stop over and see on our way to Anza Borrego. Best Mary

Hi, Mary, thanks so much for commenting and your interest in the The Art Garden. They will be at their current location for a while still, but it’s probably best if you text beforehand to make sure they’re open on the particular day you plan to visit. Their number is 909.705.9736. Explain to them that you’re a reader of this blog and when you’d like to visit. Plus, if you have the time and interest, I’d love for you to stop by the Rancho as we’re nearby. Text me at 951.536.0663 if so and we’ll see if we can’t get together! Reuben

Thanks for your response Reuben. I just now saw it checking in. We arrived in Riverside today and have the morning tomorrow before leaving. I’ll try to
Contact them again tomorrow. I called the art garden earlier but had a different number. I’ll try to message them from my iPad. Thanks again for the info. Plans to leave uncertain at this time. Best Mary
