Virtual Cool

Did you press play on the audio player above the waterfall? You should, it will complete the experience …

I created this post as a gift to myself and anyone else dealing with Summer’s diabolical weather. It’s meant to be a virtual oasis for the heat beleaguered, an escape for the harried and overheated. I’ve filled it with the sights and sounds of nature’s cool: The glisten and music of rushing water, the blessing of deep shade, the soul enriching greens of moss and leaves. I see no need to encumber the post with captions, the images speak for themselves. I hope you’ll visit it any time you need a respite … I plan to.

Oh my gosh… I have been living these images for the last week in Oregon at the N. Umpqua river and other fabulous places. I’m not looking forward to coming back home to the heat. All I can say is, UGH!
Lucky you, WF, for the last week … and lucky me, having you back! 😉

Great pix — it’s warm up here, too. And happy belated birthday too, if I’m not mistaken?
