‘Forest’ for the Trees

Need a break from the blast furnace outside? Spend some time like I did under the trees of tumblr blog, ‘The Forest is My Home‘. A rambling collection of sylvan gorgeousness, it’s also a latter-day hippie man-camp complete with hair displays (awesome dreads and beards), nature maxims (“Wilderness holds answers to questions we have not yet learned to ask”), charming wildlife closeups (noble wolves, wise owls) and flannel-loving nymphets (with a penchant for skinny dipping). In this forest the trees look cool; in their shade you’ll feel the temperature dip and almost be able to smell the moist tobacco scent of the forest floor. In this forest, too, you’ll find trees that look cool … shaped into new forms.

The forest is not my home, I prefer the desert … it’s just today I needed trees. Here are my favorites …
