………………..

This weekend the 27th Annual San Diego Home & Garden Show takes place at Del Mar Fairgrounds. It will feature an array of products and trends for improving your home and garden, as well as talks and presentations. We’re going because there will be a few garden-geared events worth attending, not least of which is the ‘Fresh Ideas with Succulents’ presentation by Debra Lee Baldwin, author of my fave succulent book ‘Succulent Container Gardens’ (review here). As you can see in the above pictures supplied by DLB, there will be succulent eye-candy aplenty! Other notable presenters: Nan Sterman of Plant Soup and Pat Welsh of Pat Welsh’s Garden Expressions. The emphasis will be on water-wise and sustainable gardens; experts will be available to answer your questions and 20 gardens by professional designers will be on view. Both products and plants will be offered, many at terrific prices. RR readers are VIPs: Click here for a printable ticket for two! Here’s more info …
