BEYOND ’10!

December 31, 2010

TURN IT UP!

Nigel Tufnel, legendary rock guitarist for the legendary rock group, Spinal Tap, had an amplifier that famously went beyond 10 all the way to 11 … Absurd? Absolutely … but let’s use the shaggy-haired axe man’s need for excessive volume as inspiration for the new year and go for MORE in 2011!

Personally, I’m hoping to have more of the following in the next 12 months: art, fun, writing, blogging, reading, drawing, painting, junking, flea marketing, entertaining, crafting, reviewing, gardening, planting, weeding, pruning, walking, relaxing, moving, looking, dancing, photographing, collecting, decorating, designing, cooking, baking, sleeping, watching, creating, making … I’m not sure how I’ll squeeze sleeping in there, but Paul keeps insisting it should be on the list, so there it is … I’m know I must’ve left something out, but I’ll add whatever it is as it occurs to me … Thanks everyone for reading RR, for subscribing and commenting, and for being as awesome as you are:

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Happy New Year, Reuben! I like your list of things to do for 2011. If there’s one effect your posts have had on me this year it’s to reinforce the fact that our yard is entirely too small. We might have to move someday!
Best wishes to you and Paul.

Thanks, Dave, best to you and yours in the new year, too! We’re constantly talking about downsizing, in our old age… but how could I possibly lose ground at this point?! Stay warm!

I stumbled upon your blog sometime this past year, and I can’t tell you how much I have enjoyed it. Although I live in the Inland Empire, your unique vision has shown me so many things I’ve overlooked. Thanks so much – and have a wonderful new year!
