Some of you will remember a post from last October called ‘Saturday Score’, where we happened upon a great multi-household garage sale with lots of cool stuff, and where I was able to bag quite a few hot items. My fave item from that haul was the amazing rusted steel planter above (at left is the planter right after I bought it; at right is the planter today — I still love it!). That was the Fall version of this amazing sale held twice a year. I’ve just received notice of the Spring edition and, although my competitive side is rebelling, I’m passing the news on to you. Promising something for everyone, the sale will feature antiques, furniture, primitives and shabby chic items, patio and garden decor, vintage clothing, jewelry, glassware, gifts and lots more. Plus, this is the sale that featured a taco bar, so you can satisfy your appetite for both shopping and tacos al pastor and champurrado. Check the jump for details…

Barb’s Backyard Antique and Garden Spring Sale is Friday, April 30th and Saturday, May 1st; 9am to 4pm, 3885 Westwood Drive, Riverside 92504 (Magnolia Ave. at Madison). Sadly, I still have to work for a living, so see you Saturday morning early!
