Resolutionary Steppin’: The Tally
My iTreadmill test of the past week is over and it’s time to tot up the numbers. Total steps walked for the week was an astounding 66,165! And, total calories burned was an equally amazing 2,664! And — drumroll — the number of pounds lost: 1.5. THUD. But, it’s a start, right? Now instead of 10 pounds I’ve only got another 8.5 left to lose … piece’a cake, eh? Even better, with all those steps walked I feel better overall and by week’s end my pants weren’t threatening to eviscerate me like they were the week before. So, I’ll continue steppin’, try to exercise some portion control, and see if I can get even closer to losing the 10 of the New Year resolution. Wish me luck… Now, the love handles? … when’ll they come up with an app for that?
Thud? 1.5 pounds in one week is very good! If you are losing weight the healthy way, you should be losing between one and two pounds per week – at least that is what the experts say! So you are right on track. Good work.
